Over the years, alot of new cafes has been appearing in the heart of Georgetown, Penang. Pavilion Cafe is also one of the new recently established cafe using heritage house as its premise. Unlike the rest that serves mainly western, Pavilion Cafe serves fusion of Taiwanese and local flavours. If you are interested in staying for a holiday in Penang, they offer homestay as well. The cafe is located just directly opposite the Kwong Wah Yit Poh building along Lebuh Presgrave.
As you stand outside of the premise, you will be greeted with a view of a restored old building which gives you a nostalgic feeling. As you enter, it gives you a olden days feeling with a little modern touch to it. The one thing that you will find in heritage buildings is that it is sometimes narrow but it stretches very long far back.

Classic Fried Spaghetti with Ham RM 10.90
The spaghetti on its own tasted mild but when the sauce was added into it, it enhanced the flavour of the dish. I liked the taste of the sauce when added, it was a little like those Indo-mee noodles.

Nothing beats deep fried boneless chicken meat with some tangy sweet and sour sauce to top it.

Now this is one dish I personally love. Consisting of eggplant, winged beans and long beans The taste of it is simply delicious. Perfect as an appetizer.
Rose Latte Ice RM 9.90
Interesting thing about this latte is that Rose Syrup (from Taiwan) is added into the drink. It is a combo of aromatic from the coffee as well as from the Rose.

A unique drink that contains Butterfly Pea Flower or known locally as Bunga Telang among a few other flowers that make up this drink. The color of the drink comes from that flower. It gets interesting after adding lemon juice into it. It changes the color from blue to purple. tadaaaaa..magic
