Jamuan Berbuka Puasa Buffet at Eastern & Oriental Hotel Penang

I can always relate buffet with Sarkies, Eastern & Oriental Hotel Penang as they have heaps of delicious spread that makes one caught spoilt with choices always. With the holy month of Ramadhan fast approaching, Sarkies has prepared an array of mouth-watering delicacies for diners to indulge away. Be warned that the wide selection of food made available, you will definitely need to do some walking here and there.

I'm truly delighted to be back here once again to preview what the kitchen has prepared for this Ramadhan.

Starting off with a nice mixture of appetizers such as Kerabu Ayam Mangga Muda, Kerabu Taugeh Ikan Bilis and many more.

If you love ulam-ulaman, then the ulam corner would surely entice you. Ulam raja, ulam selom, ulam gajus, petai and many more awaits ulam lovers.

Of course, there mixture of local as well as Asian food is found back here. From Sushis, Sashimis, to Seafood on Ice.

Now off to some nice Hot Dishes to the liking of items such as Nasi Briyani Ayam, Rendang Daging, Ayam Masak Merah, Kurma Kambing, Sambal Udang Petai and many more. Each dish offering it's very own unique flavour and taste.

The Nasi Briyani Ayam does not only catches the attention but also tasted so good especially when you have it with the main dishes. Oh yummy!

One of the highlight would definitely be ther Nasi Lemak Kek, pretty interesting I must say.

Back at the Western section, you will find different roast, pasta among other things.

There is even more food!

At the grilling station, enjoy the lovely grilled items such as seafood and meat. For this Ramadhan, do look out for items like Ayam Tandoori, Kambing Bakar Berempah and Daging Panggang Kuah Percik.

These Shawarma is just so hard to resist. Chunks of marinated chicken, wrapped with fresh greens and it makes you craving for more.

One of the items that you don't always come by is the Soto Ayam Berempah. A nicely flavoured spice stock with condiments to go along.

On the other end is where you will find stalls cooking noodles, and serving some Chinese delicacies.

And now, my favourite section, desserts! Just look at those irresistible kuih raya. A mixture of local as well as western creations will simply pamper the tummy away.
